Too often people consider the evolving relationship between humans and technology leading us away from what makes us human. We imagine technology of the future not elevating us past but leading us back to our natural environment, allowing us to experience the world in a way we have never seen it before. Skin

In the most board point of view, there is no substantial different between human body and other livings body. Human body is also recording our life histories and our living conditions, like tree’s annual ring. In this video, I recorded and explored two human bodies by focused on details, textures and marks: the past history left to them.

As more and more technology applications go into campus life, it created more and more communication limitations for college students in campus environment. This communication gradually depends on networks, which not only reduces the quality of real human contact, but also brings a lot of psychological problems.

Someone told you that, when you press a button at the end of the Earth, one person will die at another side of the Earth. It is the button in front of you, and you can not see the person. Will you easily press the buttton? Does on earth new technologies provide service for us, or are we controlled by the technologies?

Sense of Ceremony

Huge external stimulation and challenge for people were brought by the rapid social changes and fast-paced technical life, and the full anxiety phenomenon happens in the whole Chinese community. We all think that the reason of anxiety is excessive pressure of competition, lack of rest and so on. However, after my research, I have found that the root reasons of anxiety are based on the wrong choice of reference and low flexibility of mood.

Poetic Information

When I have seen the “Slow” association, my strong curiosity was aroused. Most of the people and designs stress on high efficiency, high speed and precision now, What’s the value of “slow”?! What different experiences will be brought to our life under the concept “slow”?
